Opening Day ~ April 15th, 2022
With the season starting with mist and drizzle along with great water heights it did not take long for guests to start catching fish. Our guests and our many friends fishing throughout the Miramichi system, reported great opening day fish counts including many who successfully caught their daily limits. Fish were being hooked on wide variety of fly patterns including Smelt versions, Christmas Trees, Golden Eagles and a variety of Marabou colours. With good amounts of rain in the forecast we should have lots of water for the spring season and some good fishing to look forward to after a great run last summer and fall! It’s a wonderful time to get out there after a long winter and couple of long years of covid restrictions to have your try at the amazing Atlantic Salmon!
