With the Spring Salmon Season officially behind us, we’d like to thank everyone who joined us this year. It was a great spring on the water, and we truly appreciate all the anglers who made it special.
While the spring run is over, there’s still some action left! Throughout May, we’ll continue fishing for Trout and Striped Bass, and there’s still the occasional chance of hooking a late salmon.
But what everyone is really looking forward to is the early run of Wild Atlantic Salmon in June. These fresh, powerful fish are destined for the upper stretches of the river, and many tip the scales at 15–22 lbs. Pound for pound, they’re some of the hardest-fighting salmon of the entire season.
We always get excited for that first salmon of June—it’s a tradition that marks the true beginning of the summer run.
Here are a few photos of our “firsts” from the past decade of June Salmon to get you inspired for what's ahead!
